PURPOSE:To make a device small in size and thin, by providing an electromagnet on the center shaft of a rotary arm to make the motion in the axial direction in a rotation shaft possible when one magnetic head or pressing mechanism is separated from the other. CONSTITUTION:An upper arm 31, a magnetic head 32, an upper magnetic head supporting mechanism 33, an upper shield plate 34, an upper magnetic head positioning pin 35, a lower arm 36, a lower magnetic head 37, a lower magnetic head supporting mechanism 38, a lower shield plate 39, and a lower magnetic head positioning pin 40 are provided. Upper and lower magnetic heads 32 and 37 are brought into contact with a disc 41, and the lower arm 36 is fixed to an arm fixing base 48. Upper and lower yokes 43 and 44 are connected by a spring 45; and when a current is not flowed to a coil 46, the spring 45 is released, and the upper arm 31 is separated from the arm fixing base 48 in the axial direction; and when a current is flowed to the coil 46, the lower yoke 44 becomes an electromagnet, and the upper yoke 43 is attracted and is fixed to the arm fixing base 48. |
