Electrical plug contact part

An electrical plug contact part is proposed which consists essentially of a connecting region which is provided for connection through an electrical cable, and of a contact region which is connected thereto and is provided for accommodating a mating plug-contact part. The contact region in this case consists of a retaining body in which a contact recess is provided centrally to which a contact spring means is assigned in a retaining manner. In order to create a plug contact part which is able to produce high contact forces and to pass on or dissipate thermal energy to a large extent, the connecting region and the retaining body are produced integrally from solid material, the foot of the contact recess having a thickened region. The contact spring means is folded about its line of symmetry running through the base and, in the region of its line of symmetry, has a bulge corresponding to the thickened region of the contact recess. In this case, the contact spring means is held in a positively locking and force-fitting manner in the thickened region of the contact recess via this bulge.
