PURPOSE:To easily detect an accidental error such as the arrangement error of a specimen container or the input error with respect to the arrangement of the specimen container by providing a display code reader such as a bar code reader to the specimen suction nozzle holding part of an automatic sampler. CONSTITUTION:When a specimen table 2 is stopped, a specimen suction nozzle 6 is inserted in the specimen container 15 positioned at a sampling position 23 to suck and collect the specimen in the specimen container 15 by the operation of a suction pump.
