PURPOSE: To obtain the subject medicine solution useful as a diuretic medicine solution high in antihypertensive characteristics, by blending triamterene as a diuretic and optionally hydrochlorothiazide with specific amounts of glycol and a lactic acid so as to solubilize triamterene. CONSTITUTION: Triamterene (2,4,7-triamino-6-phenylpteridine) which is a diuretic existing in a medically effective amount of 5-10mg/ml is blended with optionally hydrochlorothiazide (its combination provides a diuretic having high antihypertensive characteristics) and 1-50 vol.% of a polypropylene glycol, polyethylene glycol or its mixture existing in an amount and 1-20vol.% of lactic acid or its salt to dissolve triamterene. The mixture is mixed with a medically permissible dilute such as glycerol to give the objective medicine solution having pH4-6 effective for oral administration. |
