PURPOSE:To reduce the distortion of an object image and to take a natural photograph by setting a photographic magnification obtained on the telescopic side of a zoom lens when an object is in a short distance and setting a photographic magnification obtained on the wide side of the zoom lens when the object is in a long distance by a photographic magnification setting means. CONSTITUTION:A focus lens group LF performs focusing from infinity to the closest photographic distance by moving on an optical axis and zoom lens groups LZ1 and LZ2 respectively change from a short focal distance to a long focal distance by the specified movement on the optical axis. The magnification obtained on the tele side of the zoom lens when the object is in the short distance and the magnification obtained on the wide side thereof when the object is in the long distance are set. Namely, the relation between the focal distance of the zoom lens and the magnification, that means, a zooming program, becomes as follows in accordance with the object distance; the focal distance is set from small to large and the magnification is set from small to large in the title camera, while the focal distance is set from small to large and the magnification is set from large to small in a conventional camera. Thus, close-up photographing is performed on the telescopic side, thereby making the distortion of the object image small. |
