PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the participation of a processor exclusively used for processing signals to address calculation, etc., of picture data which can be expressed by transformation and to shorten the processing time of the title processor by providing memory control circuits incorporating coordinate transforming functions. CONSTITUTION:Memory control circuits 211 and 212 incorporating coordinate transforming functions which can make access to data in a memory on an arbitrary coordinate system are provided in this picture processor. Therefore, the need for the participation of a processor 14 exclusively used for processing signals to address calculation, etc., of picture data which can be expressed by the transformation of the circuits 211 and 212 is eliminated. As a result, when the processing time of the picture processor can be shortened and the user of the processor can perform various processes, such as holding of a digital picture obtained in an arbitrary coordinate system, etc., handling can be carried out without considering geometrical transformation separately. |
