PURPOSE:To easily collect information on an optimum route to a destination in a short period of time by collecting and displaying the information on the optimum route via a station computer when the information on the destination is received from a terminal equipment and at the same time inquiring of a local host computer about the route situation. CONSTITUTION:A user inputs his/her destination station and date of departure via a keyboard 15 set at a terminal equipment 14, and these inputted information are supplied to a station computer 13. The computer 13 controls the route information on each station as well as the time tables of these routes. Then an optimum route is obtained based on the route information and time tables and displayed. Furthermore an inquiry is given to a local host computer 12 about the route situation obtained by the computer 13. Thus this route situation can be known in real time. |
