<p>PURPOSE:To compensate frequency deterioration at the time of interpolation and to prevent the deterioration of picture quality by performing a filtering process in a state where data are in a frequency space. CONSTITUTION:A data collector 1 collects data and processor 2 converts the collected data into data in a two-dimensional Fourier plane. A filtering device 3 performs a filtering process on the data in the Fourier plane. Then a picture reconstituting device 4 converts the data in the Fourier plane into picture data by performing picture reconstituting calculation after a 2DFT (two-dimensional Fourier transformation) method. Finally, a liner interpolation device 5 finds the internally dividing points of 1:3 and 3:1 between adjacent picture data by interpolation, doubles the picture by using the interpolating points only, and displays the enlarged picture on a display device 6 having double resolution against collected data. Therefore, the high-frequency emphasized part offsets the frequency deteriorated part in the double magnified picture thus obtained and frequency deterioration of the picture can be prevented.</p> |
