PURPOSE:To improve printing quality and the reliability of a device by pointing the magnetic pole of a magnetic roll toward a reference line connecting the middle of sleeve rotation to an opening edge, and shifting and arranging said pole in the reversely rotating direction of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic roll 11 is arranged along the bent surface 14a of a housing 14 so that its magnetic pole points a line C making an angle alphaopposite to the rotating direction 17 of the sleeve 12 with the reference line 16 connecting the opening edge A and the rotating center 12a of the sleeve 12. The magnetic force generated by the magnetic roll 11 is set at a maximum in a position on the line C. Accordingly, developer is magnetically attracted to the sleeve 12 at the highest level in the position on the line C. Housing pressure can be prevented from being directly applied to the developer at a zero magnetic force in the reverse direction of the sleeve 12, therefore, the developer never stays to prevent it from falling down from a point B. Thus, printing quality and the reliability of the device can be improved. |
