PURPOSE: To suppress friction to possible minimum without involving a play between rollers and a ring-shaped bearing retainer located between the inner ring and outer ring of the bearing by forming a rubber covering layer partially or over the whole area of the wall surface of an opening to surround the roller. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of rollers 1 are installed between the inner ring 3 and outer ring 5 of a rolling bearing and held by a retainer 7 separated in the circumferential direction. The retainer 7 consists of a ring-shaped member and has openings 9 positioned at certain constant intervals in the circumferential direction. Each opening 9 surrounds respective roller 1 partially, and the wall surface 11 of the opening 9 is lined with a rubber covering layer 13. Owing to this covering layer 13, the rollers 1 have no risk of being damaged, and a lubricant can be held in good performance to allow the bearing to operate with low noise emission, and its lifetime can be prolonged. |
