PURPOSE:To judge the left and right opening/closing states of a shutter spectacles automatically for a left and a right image by providing a means for switching the left and right parts of a liquid crystal spectacles in synchronism with the status of the status register of a graphic processor and a driving device for the liquid crystal spectacles. CONSTITUTION:Data on the left and right images are read in two VRAMs (memory 6) respectively and the shutter spectacles driving device 2 is initialized so as to synchronize the left and right parts of the shutter spectacles 3 with the left and right images. Then, the status of the status register 8 in the graphic processor is detected and when scanning is not in process, a bank is switched to a VRAM which is not in a display state between the two VRAMS, thereby performing the left- right switching of the shutter of the liquid crystal shutter spectacles 3. Consequently, it is judged automatically which of left and right shutters of the shutter spectacles is opened for the display of the left and right images. |
