PURPOSE:To make it possible to weld the lugs of electrode plates in a good condition by feeding a molten lead A more than the amount necessary to form straps in the pattern holes for strap formation. CONSTITUTION:To pattern holes for strap formation, a molten lead A1 more than the amount necessary to form straps is fed, the calorie of the molten lead A1 is utilized to weld the lugs 6 of electrode plates while heating the lugs 6, and excessive molten lead A1 is collected from the strap formation pattern holes 1. After the straps are formed by solidifying the molten lead which has welded the electrode plate lugs 6 in the strap formation pattern holes 1, the straps are removed from the strap formation pattern holes 1. As a result, the molten lead A comes to have a sufficient calorie to heat the electrode plate lugs 6 up to a specific temperature. Consequently, the welding of the electrode plate lugs 6 can be carried out in a good condition by the heating with the molten lead A which has a large thermal capacity. |
