PURPOSE:To enable connection in a short time by overlapping the ends of connecting side of steel strips facing each other, piercing holes by a sharp-pointed punch that penetrates from one side to another of the surface and reverse, bending burrs formed on another face to outside, and connecting the strips. CONSTITUTION:Ends of connecting side of steel strips facing each other are overlapped by the length in accordance with required size. Holes are pierced by a sharp-pointed punch that penetrates from one side to another of the surface and reverse in the overlapped part. The number of holes is adjusted according to required adhesive strength. Then, projecting burrs formed on the other face are bent outward to stick them to the surface of steel, and steel strips are connected. |
