PURPOSE:To remedy a delay in the response of an automobile behavior to handle control by a method wherein based on a steering angle, opening and closing of a plurality of injection valves are controlled, and a delay-in-response correction pressure oil is selectively injected in a pair of the reaction force chambers of a control valve. CONSTITUTION:A power steering 10 is formed with a steering wheel 11, a steering shaft 12, and a power device connected to a hydraulic circuit. The power device is formed with a power cylinder 13, a control valve 14 having a pair of reaction force chambers 50 and 51, and an oil pump 15. In this case, delay-in-response correction oil pressure passages 22 and 23 are connected to the reaction force chambers 50 and 51, respectively, and electric pressure oil injection valves 24 and 25 are disposed to the passages 22 and 23, respectively. Opening and closing of the electric pressure oil injection valves 24 and 25 are controlled by a control unit 26 based on a signal from a steering angle sensor 28. This constitution causes selective injection of delay-in-response correction pressure oil to the reaction force chambers 50 and 51.
