PURPOSE:To obtain heat transfer tubes provided with corrugated fins of high performance with high productivity by supplying corrugated fins formed of strip materials continuously to both lateral surfaces of a flat tube, sandwiching brazing filler metals between both and fixing the fins and the tube by brazing. CONSTITUTION:A pair of strip materials are supplied continuously from supply devices 1 to fin formers 2, and after corrugated fins 12 are formed, the materials are passed through washing devices 3 and are thereby washed. A flat tube 11 is supplied at the speed related to the supplying of the strip materials and a flux is coated on both lateral surfaces thereof with flux coaters 7. The formed fins 12 are passed through flux tanks 4 to coat the flux on the parts to be joined to the tube 11. Belt-like brazing filler metals 13 which are fed from supply devices 8 are fed so as to be sandwiched between the tube 11 and the fins 12 coated with the flux and are fed to a heater 9 where the fins 12 are brazed into one body to the tube 11. Thereafter, the tube is fed to a washing device 14 and is washed away of foreign matter such as fluxes. |
