PURPOSE:To obtain the org. solvent having an excellent deodorant effect by incorporating alcohol which is specified in carbon atoms, a flocculatable and water soluble high-polymer compd. which is specified in solid content and water which has a specific weight ratio into the solvent. CONSTITUTION:The org. solvent consisting of the flocoulatable and water soluble high-polymer compd. at 0.1-10ppm as solid content at the time of use and <=3C alcohol contg. the moisture within 10% only is used. The alcohol is either of methyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol and above all the latter two are superior in terms of low toxicity. The high-polymer compd. to be added to the alcohol has preferably >=100,000 number average mol. wt. and is a carboxyl group and the alkaline salt thereof, etc. This soln. is effective for deodorization of mattress and bedding which have malodors by absorbing sweat and dirt, clothing and curtains which have solvent smells and detergent smells and things for which aq. drugs are not usable. |
