PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency of photo-charging by sunlight energy by connecting a plurality of solar cell units in series so as to completely cover the surrounding of a cylindrical chargeable battery. CONSTITUTION: Solar cell units 28A, 28B, 28C surround the outer circumference of a cylindrical chargeable battery 12, are connected in series, and fixed to the cylindrical circumferential surface through a transparent shrinkable lapping cover 30. One end of the solar cell unit-serial body is connected to a cathode 24 through a blocking diode 32 and a bus bar 29, and the other end is connected to an anode 26 through a bus bar 31. Unless the progressing direction of a sunlight is parallel to the cylindrical core center of the chargeable battery 12, each solar cell unit generates almost the same amount of photo-current, similar low electric resistance is produced in a charging circuit, and charging efficiency is enhanced. |
