PURPOSE: To increase shock absorbing characteristics against rolling and pitching by forming an annular chamber defined around a piston rod in a hydraulic jack installed on each wheel so as to feed a pressure fluid from a main hydropneumatic and a compensating hydropneumatic accumulators to the annular chamber. CONSTITUTION: Jacks 1 (1a to 1d) installed on wheels 2a to 2d include cylinders 3a to 3d fixed to wheel supporting arms 4a to 4d, respectively, and main hydropneumatic accumulators 7 (7a to 7d) are installed at the outer end parts of rods 6a to 6d formed integrally with freely reciprocative pistons 5a to 5d, respectively. The main chambers 8a to 8d of the jacks 1 communicate with an accumulator 7 through dampers 10a to 10d, respectively, and height correcting devices 12a, 12b, and 13 are installed on each of the jacks 1a and 1b. In this case, annular chambers 11 (11a to 11d) are formed on each jack 1 so as to feed fluid from the main and compensating hydropneumatic accumulators 7, 15a, and 15c to each annular chamber 11. |
