PURPOSE:To make alkali resistance and oxidation resistance excellent and to increase electrolyte retainability by forming a polyamide nonwoven fabric separator with mixed fibers of low elongation polyamide fibers and polyamide family composite binder fibers. CONSTITUTION:At least 50wt.% low elongation polyamide fibers whose tensile elongation at break is 40% or less and at least 20-50wt.% polyamide family composite binder fibers are mixed and heated, then pressed to form a polyamide nonwoven fabric separator. As the polyamide family composite binder fiber, core-sheath type composite fibers in which the core is made of nylon 6 and the sheath is made of a copolymer of nylon 6, nylon 10, and nylon 12 are used. |
