Collector for miniature electric motors. The collector is preferably employed in electric motors that can be used in the toy trade. The collector consists of a grooved metal laminar body that has a contact at one end. This contact is bent double, thereby gripping the cable and holding it for the time it takes to break its protective sheath in order to make good contact. The contact is provided on the gripping surface with ribs, grooves or edges that facilitate the breaking of the cable sheath. <IMAGE>
