<p>PURPOSE:To stable and securely perform a lid opening operation by making one of a pair of lid opening members turn in connection of a descending operation of a cassette holder by the cassette holder. CONSTITUTION:When the cassette holder 35 is operated to descend, both farthest sides along the lower end edge of a front lid of a tape cassette 1 which is insertively held by this cassette holder 35 are brought into contact with a pressing operation part 145 of a pair of lid opening members 141 and 142, and at least one of the lid opening member is turned by following a further descending operation of the cassette holder 35, so as to turn the front lid 10 in the lid opening direction. When the tape cassette 1 provided with such a front lid 10 is loaded into a tape cassette loading position, the lid opening operation of the front lid 10 can securely be performed, and also the stable lid operation of the front lid 10 is feasible.</p> |
