PURPOSE:To obtain the title material markedly improved in an interlaminar shear strength and 0 deg.-bending strength by adding a long fiber reinforcement to a specified epoxy resin composition. CONSTITUTION:An epoxy resin composition is obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin containing at least 40wt.% N,N,O-triglycidyl-4-aminocresol with 8-25 pts.wt. dicyandiamide and, optionally, 10-75 pts.wt. 3,3'-diaminodiphenyl sulfone. A prepreg is obtained by laying a tack-free sheet of this composition on a sheet formed by paralleling a plurality of long reinforcing fibers or a woven cloth thereof and impregnating the latter with the former or by impregnating the sheet or cloth with a solution of said composition. This prepreg is molded into any desired shape to obtain a fiber-reinforced composite material. |
