PURPOSE:To make the convection of a refrigerant to be securely performed actively by installing a transparent partition plate, which is provided with penetrating holes in its upper and lower parts, in a space charged with the refrigerant, at the middle between two panels. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant touching a fluorescent-screen panel 1 comes to have a temperature higher than that of a refrigerant touching a transparent panel 3, and flows toward the transparent panel 3 through the upper penetrating hole 7 of a transparent partition plate 6. The refrigerant having a lower temperature and touching the transparent panel 3, flows toward the fluorescent-screen panel 1 through the lower passage hole 8 of the plate 6. Thus, since the convection of the refrigerant comes to be securely performed actively, the temperature distribution of the fluorescent-screen panel 1 becomes nearly homogeneous, and becomes as indicated in the figure after continuous operation is carried out for a long time. As a result, since the convection movement of the refrigerant used for cooling the fluorescent-screen panel 1 comes to be orderly performed actively, the temperature distribution of the fluorescent-screen panel 1 becomes nearly homogeneous, the luminance of a picture becomes nearly homogeneous, and no cracks are caused in the panel 1. |
