PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a battery replacement, and also, to obviate the danger of an erroneous correction of time by supplying energy and time information to a slave timepiece from a master timepiece. CONSTITUTION:A master timepiece 1 contains a crystal oscillating circuit 6, a frequency dividing circuit 7, and a timepiece circuit for generating time information and calendar information. A slave timepiece 4 is provided with a power source circuit 23 for converting an energy signal from the master timepiece 1 to a DC voltage and charging a battery 21, a correction control circuit 27 for executing a time correction of a timepiece circuit 15 by a time correcting signal from the master timepiece 1, and a charging confirming device 24 for detecting a charging operation of the power source circuit 23. By a confirming signal from this charging confirming device 24, the time correction control circuit 27 executes a time correction of the timepiece circuit 15 of the slave timepiece 4. These operations are executed by placing the salve timepiece 4 on a timepiece placing base of the master timepiece 1. |
