摘要 PURPOSE: To more compact the passive frequency standardizing device by providing an interogation means with a spiral resonator and arranging a storage means in the resonator so as to obtain the same resonance frequency by different spiral bodies. CONSTITUTION: Atoms of Rb85 arranged on a cell 42 part most close to a lamp 40 absorb a spectral component A of the lamp 40 to filter the component A and atoms of Rb87 arranged on a cell 42 part arranged farmost from the lamp 40 absorb a spectral component B of the lamp 40 to execute light pumping action. The cell 42 is protected from an external magnetic field by a magnetic screen 54 and exposed to a uniform static magnetic field formed by a winding 56 and a radio frequency magnetic field formed by an interogation means and the interogatin means is provided with a spiral resonator 44. The radio frequency magnetic field is confined by a conductive screen 58. Resonance frequency is a spiral and geometrical shape function. The absorption of the component B by the atoms of Rb87 in the cell 42 is detected by a photoelectric cell 46.
