<p>PURPOSE: To achieve speedy change of tools by connecting one end of a connection member to one end of a center shaft, providing a permanent magnet in the connection member, and providing a center hole having a rectangular or polygonal cross section in the other end part of the connection member to be extended in an axial direction of it, so a shaft part of the tool can be inserted into the center hole. CONSTITUTION: A shaft part 24 of a tool or apparatus to hold a head 25 of the tool or apparatus for milling, polishing or grinding is guided and fixed in a bush 19. The shaft part 24 made of steel, a main body has a circular cross sectional surface, a front end part (free end part) of it is formed as a rectangular part 26, and its sizes coincide with those of a cross sectional surface of a center hole 17, so the shaft part 24 is held in the center hole 17 to be incapable of rotation but capable of axial movement. The shaft part 24 has a flat front end surface 28, and the front end surface 28 gets in surface-contact with a corresponding flat magnetic pole surface 29 of a magnet 12. Easy coupling of a connection part to the apparatus, and easy change of the apparatus can thus be achieved.</p> |
