<p>PURPOSE: To apply the most suitable programming current to a programming control means by providing with the programming control means, a decoder switching means and an enabling means. CONSTITUTION: The programming control means 2, the decoder switching means 7 and the enabling means 3-6 are included in a programming performing circuit. The current is made to flow into a bit line BTL of a memory cell from a voltage power source Vpp by activating the control means 2 with the enabling means 3-6. This current is limited according to a current limiting input voltage. The current limiting input voltage is sent to the control means 2 with the decoder switching means 7 responding to signals from the decoder circuit. The control means 2 is deactivated with the enabling means 3-6 during reading operation in the memory circuit, and the bit line BTL is connected to the input of a sense amplifier SA.</p> |
