The invention relates to a machine making it possible to embed vine stake 5 anchors 4 each composed of a self-tapping helix 4a and of a shank 4b articulated at its base to the said helix 4a and capped by an eyelet 4b' for fastening to a guy 6. This machine is noteworthy in that it consists of a framework 8 on which are arranged: - a workstation comprising a hydraulic motor 9 controlling the rotary movement of a screwing tool 13 provided, at its bottom end, on the one hand, with a screwing end-fitting 15 capable of interacting with the self-tapping helix 4a and at its top end 13b on the other hand with a member 12 for transmitting the rotational movement between the said tool 13 and the output shaft 9c of the hydraulic motor 9, - and a control station consisting of members 8a, 8b, 8c, 8d for gripping and holding the work station.
