PURPOSE: To obtain an uniform distribution of a mixture by adding at least one guide wall in an apparatus equipped with a plurality of nail-like protrusions projective from a substrate and a heating element for improving mixture distribution in a suction part of a suction pipe. CONSTITUTION: A suction pipe 1 of multi-cylinder internal combustion engine has a upward opening 2 in one end, and a mixture forming device (carburetor or injection unit) 4 locates above the opening 2. In this invention, a device 12 for improving a mixture distribution is arranged in downward opening 11 locating at bottom 10 of the suction pipe 1 in the manner of the downward opening 11 can be closed by the device 12. The device 12 is composed of a flange 14, a cylindrical portion 16, a substrate 17, a plurality of nail-like protrusions 18, at least one guide wall 20, single or plural heating element(s) 21, electric wire 23 and a cover 24. And, the guide wall 20, for example, is curved, and at least a part between these protrusions 18 is mounted by a clamp. |
