PURPOSE: To guarantee a durability of a clutch and enhance the shifting performance by connecting a fluid passage means to an application chamber when a torque transmitting means and hub members are in specific positions, and installing a valve means. CONSTITUTION: When a torque transmitting means 24 and hub members 12 and 20 are in one limit position within a finite range of relative angular displacement, a first fluid passage means 56 is connected with both an application chamber 36 and a counterfluid chamber 44. When the torque transmitting means 24 and hub members 12 and 20 are in the other limit position, the first fluid passage means 56 is connected with the application chamber 36 and also the second fluid passage means 58 is connected with the counterfluid chamber 44 by a valve means 26. Thereby the durability of a clutch is guaranteed, and the shifting performance is enhanced. |
