PURPOSE:To provide a feeder so designed that a shaft suspended, so as to be capable of vertical motion, above the delivery port at the lower part of a hopper is openably fitted with push-feeding pieces of hinge-type to feed in- hopper material to be fed toward said delivery port, thereby enabling said material to be smoothly delivered into a packing machine without incorporation thereof. CONSTITUTION:A material to be fed 2 consisting of an ingredient such as 'shao-mai' charged into hopper 1 is fed toward a delivery port 1a as follows: when a rod 7a in an air cylinder 7 is made to descend, both semilunar plates 3a, 3a of push-feeding pieces 3 closed at the lower end of a shaft 4 are allowed to descend while being opened to both sides with a pin as a support through the resistance of the in-hopper material 2, thereby feeding said material 2. Thence, when the rod 7a is raised, another batch of a material to be fed 2 is allowed to ascend smoothly to a specified position while closing the above semilunar plates 3a, 3a being in an opened state. Next, in this state, the shaft 4 is made to descend again, thus, automatically, continuously repeating operations similar to those mentioned above. |
