PURPOSE:To prevent the dispersion of the intake air filling quantity by communicating a common intake passage upstream a sub-throttle valve and independent intake passages upstream main throttle valves with a bypass intake passage feeding the intake air at least at the time of idling. CONSTITUTION:A common intake passage 9 is provided for cylinders #1-#4 of a multi-cylinder engine CE, an air cleaner 11, an air flow meter 12, a sub- throttle valve 13 and a surge tank 15 are provided in sequence from the upstream side on it. Individual independent intake passages 17 communicated to individual intake ports 2 are connected to the surge tank 15, individual throttle valves 18 are provided. The common intake passage 9 on the upstream side of the sub-throttle valve 13 and the independent intake passage 17 on the upstream side of the main throttle valves 18 are communicated by a bypass intake passage 21. An idle rotating speed control valve 22 is provided on the bypass intake passage 21, it is controlled by a control unit 23. |
