摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To shorten the drawing time of a tracking control by providing a deciding means for deciding which number of track corresponds to a signal to be regenerated from each head and controlling the signal processing timing based on an output of this deciding means. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of individual rotary heads H1-H8 are controlled by an HSP of a head switching pulse (HSP) generating circuit to be supplied to regenerative amplifiers 36a-36d. Outputs of the amplifiers 36a-36d are digitally demodulated 42a-42d respectively to be supplied to a switch 44. The switch 44 is changed in turn in its connections at every cycle time of a RAM 46, and a regenerative signal of each head is written in the RAM 46. Then, the regenerative signal from each head is decided by a regenerative track deciding circuit 48 as to which track belongs to out of eight tracks, so as to decide the output timing of a timing pulse to be given from a timing control circuit 50 to a RAM 52. The regenerative signal written in the RAM 46 is processed by the RAM 52 based on the timing pulse from the circuit 50.</p>
