<p>PURPOSE:To record the required entire monitor object on a video tape efficiently by recording a picked-up picture onto a video tape intermittently for a prescribed time each every time the pickup position of an ITV camera is moved by a distance corresponding to the pickup range. CONSTITUTION:The pickup direction of the ITV camera 1 is driven in the circumferential direction of a pipe 3 by a scanner 2, that is, in the height Y direction of the pickup range E. Thus, after the picture by one pattern is extracted from the ITV camera 1, when the pickup range E is moved by 63.06cm in the circumferential direction of the pipe 3 and when the picture of the 2nd pattern is extracted, the picture of a different location not overlapped is obtained. Thus, the quantity of the video tape is reduced to 1/36 in comparison with recording the picture continuously by recording one frame picture only for 1sec onto the video tape. Thus, the VTR 5 is operated intermittently so as not to record the overlapped picture.</p> |
