PURPOSE:To facilitate piling up of square Cu wires in a accurately positioned state and to improve productivity of a square Cu block by a method wherein after the corners of a square Cu wire are positioned in a manner to point to a vertical and a horizontal direction, the square Cu wires are piled up in a pyramidform manner as the Cu wires are engaged with each other. CONSTITUTION:Square Cu wires 14 are insertedly aligned in a corrugated groove 12 of a Cu base board 13 in the upper surface of which the corrugated groove 12 having right-angled roots 10 and crests 11 formed in a continuous manner is formed. Further, under a state in which the corners of a square Cu wire 14 are positioned in a manner to point to a vertical and lateral direction, the square Cu wires 14 are piled up in a pyramidform manner as they are engaged with each other. Thereafter, the piled up square Cu wires are longitudinally cut, in order, to given lengths to form a square Cu block 15. This method sharply increases the number of the square Cu blocks 15 produced by a single cutting action, improves working efficiency, and enhances productivity. |
