PURPOSE:To polish the part to be polished of a work by means of an edge with high efficiency without deeply damaging a work when media collides with the work by a method wherein the surface of media forms a smooth curved surface or a plane, and an edge formed by causing adjoining surfaces to cross each other forms a smooth curve. CONSTITUTION:Media 17 is contained in a barrel togetherwith a ceramic molded product before calcining to agitate them, and the ceramic molded product is polished by means of the media 17. In this case, all surfaces which the media 17 has form smooth curved surfaces 18 and 19 or a plane, and an edge 20 formed by causing the adjoining surfaces 18 and 19 to cross each other forms a smooth curve. The edge part 20 of the media enables high-efficient polishing of the ceramic molded product without deeply damaging a work when the media 17 collides with the work. |
