The guide consists principally of two graded vertical uprights 1 and 2, each provided with a spirit level 3 and fixed to the walls 7 and 8 by bar clamps 9 with heel 5, on which uprights there moves a slide 10 supporting a roll 11 equipped with sliding angle brackets 12 and slides 13, connected in pairs by an elastic member 15 offset upwardly relative to the upper edge of the roll 11 and of the sliding angle bracket 12 by a distance corresponding to the thickness of a brick and its sealing mortar.
