The invention relates to a mincing machine having a perforated disc and a vane cutter set, in which stringy and hard material to be cut is separated out. For this purpose, there is provided on the cutter-side side of the perforated disc 6 an in particular spiral-shaped guide groove 11 which proceeds from the cutter hub, extends to an outlet 10 on the outer rim of the perforated disc 6 in the housing 1 and is swept over by the vane cutter set 4a. Provided in the free annular space between the ends arranged at a radial distance from the inside of the housing 1, of the vane cutters 4a, in the region of the outlet 10, is a ring 14 which partially covers the latter and bears against the cutter-side side of the perforated disc 6 so that only hard and stringy components of cut material the size of which corresponds to the passage of the guide groove 11 and to the ring 14, can be conveyed out via the outlet 10. Undesired conveying-out of satisfactory cut material and larger components of cut material which lead to blockages is avoided in this manner. <IMAGE>
