This invention relates to an injection needle remover capable of removing an injection needle from a used injector without touching it, and discarding the injection needle. A cover (1) is attached to a storage case (3) adapted to hold removed injection needles therein and having an opening (9), and a needle removing lever (2) is supported pivotably via a pin (16) on a mount (14) provided on the cover (1). The cover is provided in the wall of a crown thereof with a bore (17) consisting of a large-diameter entrance (18) into which a flange (8) of an injection needle can be inserted, and a small-diameter locking portion (19) through which a flange which has been inserted thereinto cannot be withdrawn. A bifurcated pressure portion (12) of the needle removing lever is positioned on the outer surface of the wall of the crown, in which the bore (17) is formed, of the cover. When a grip portion (13) of the needle removing lever is gripped with the flange of an injection needle engaged with the locking portion (19), the pressure portion presses an injector body (4) to cause the injection needle to be separated from the injector body and enable the separated injection needle to be held in the storage case. |
