HELMET CARRYING TYPE DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD

PURPOSE: To exactly obtain information from a displayed video even when a pilot is present in any attribute state by setting the visual point of the display video to the pilot itself. CONSTITUTION: The attribute of a helmet for a ground is searched in response to the attribute signal of an airplane 12 and the attribute signal of the helmet, the helmet attribute signal is converted into the helmet attribute signal corresponding to the ground. Then, mark videos equivalent to more then one prescribed spots on a ground surface 18 viewed in the prescribed visual field of a pilot 10 mounting the helmet are displayed to a pilot 10 in response to the attitude of the airplane 12. In this case, the mark video is displayed to the pilot 10 so as to be made coincident to the position on the actual ground surface 18. That is, the pilot 10 can look at the mark video projected in the visual field of the pilot himself by superimposing the mark video on the actual ground surface. Thus, the pilot can exactly recognize displayed information regardless of the flying attitude state of the pilot himself.
