PURPOSE: To improve the safety, by a method wherein 1st and 2nd processors which control independently the connection between an energy source and a motor in accordance with a speed signal from a tacometer are provided in a programmable controller. CONSTITUTION: A 1st processor 72 in a programmable controller 60 supplies the set point information to a 2nd processor 74 in response to a command from an operator control panel 68 and, further, outputs a logic-true signal to an enable line 106 when a revolution signal on a line 53 reaches a revolution limit value. The 2nd processor 74 outputs a motor current control signal to a motor power drive 32 in accordance with the set point information and, further, outputs a logic-true signal to an enable line 116. If one of the enable lines 106 and 116 is in a logic-true state, a block 108 outputs an enable signal to the drive 32. |
