PURPOSE: To avoid damages, etc., which are caused by turning a door handle at an improper position, by a method wherein the handle can not be turned unless it is pushed. CONSTITUTION: If a handle coupled with a lock main part 13 is pushed toward a retainer 21 side, the retainer of a slide 9 retreats from the surface of a handle shaft 8 and a guide protrusion is made to protrude from the circumferential surface of the hadle shaft 8. With this constitution, the slide 9 is not retained with the inside of the cylinder 2 and the handle shaft 8 can be turned and the retainer 21 is separated from a housing 27 or coupled with the housing 27, so that a door 26 can be opened and closed. When the lock main part 13 is not pushed toward the retainer 21 side, the guide protrusion of the slide 9 is fitted in a trench, so that the handle can not be turned. |
