According to the invention, plastic foam, in particular polystyrene foam or polyurethane foam in sheet form, is reinforced with woven fabrics, fibres or the like by either the reinforcement being rolled in the warm state into the plastic foam or else by there first of all being shaped into the surface of the plastic foam recesses which subsequently receive the reinforcement and, after receiving the reinforcement, are closed again. |
