<p>PURPOSE:To preferentially display a fault having higher seriousness by replacing a currently displayed fault with the fault having the higher seriousness than that of the currently displayed fault and displaying the fault having the higher seriousness when a fault seriousness comparing means decides that the fault having the higher seriousness than that of the currently displayed fault exists. CONSTITUTION:A fault seriousness comparing means 3 compares a fault seriousness 13 to indicate the seriousness of the fault currently displayed on the fault message display area of a CRT and a seriousness 26 of another fault under an occurring state. A decision 4 is for deciding the result of the fault seriousness comparing means 3, and when A<B, a priority display means 5 is executed. The priority display means 5 reads a fault number from a fault file corresponding to the seriousness 26 of the fault under the occurring state (from a fault file 22 when the seriousness is severe, from a fault file 23 when the seriousness is medium, and from a fault file 24 when the seriousness is slight, respectively), reads the fault designation of the number from a fault designation file 14, and displays the read fault designation on the fault message display area 25 of the CRT.</p> |
