<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a compressed-gas-sealed container from being broken in case of inner arc accident, etc., by providing a rupture disk to an opening of a gas-sealed container. CONSTITUTION:For a compressed-gas-sealed container a circular opening 4 with a flange 3 opens in the horizontal direction. To this opening 4, a rupture disk 5 is fitted which is composed of a partial spherical surface moulded with thin stainless steel, etc., and its peripheral annular flange. The rupture disk 5 is protected with an O-ring 3a inserted into a groove provided to the flange of the opening 4 so as to keep it airtight. It is installed to the container by fastening an annular keep plate 6 on the opposite side with a bolt 7. When the inner pressures is heightened by the arc, the rupture disk 5 will burst so that the gas-sealed container can be protected.</p> |
