Wheel slip control device in motor vehicles

A wheel slip control device is hereby disclosed for use in a motor vehicle which has an engine (1) for generating a driving force for driving the motor vehicle. The device comprises a first sensor (16a, 17a) for detecting a speed of a driving wheel (16, 17) of the motor vehicle, which is driven by the drive force generated by the engine (1), a second sensor for detecting a speed of travel of the motor vehicle and a third sensor for detecting an acceleration of the driven wheel. The device furthermore contains a decision element for identifying the occurrence of slipping of the driven wheel (16, 17) on the basis of the detection findings of the first and the second sensor, a driving force-adjusting element for adjusting a driving force of the motor vehicle and a control device for controlling the slip of the driven wheel on the basis of the information from the first to the third sensors. The control unit controls the driving force-adjusting element on the basis of the acceleration which is detected by the third sensor, once the decision element has identified the occurrence of slip of the driven wheel (16, 17).
