The shaft journal of a clutch is supported in the flywheel of an internal combustion engine. A rolling bearing is provided for this purpose. To prevent the inner race of the bearing from performing movements relative to the shaft journal, a spring element is held between the inner race of the bearing and a shoulder of the shaft journal. The shoulder is formed by the end shaft of the spline-shaft portion and the spring element is preferably designed as a flexible plastics part in the form of a bellows.
