<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the recovery rate of a product gas by branching a pipeline connecting the waste gas discharge pipe of a pressure-swinging adsorption tower and the regenerating gas inlet pipe of a pretreating tower into two systems, and providing a gaseous recovered component adsorption tower to the one system. CONSTITUTION:Raw air is sent to one between the pretreating towers 2a and 2b, and H2O and CO2 are adsorbed therein. The air is then sent to one among the adsorption towers 3a-3c through ducts 21 and 1a, and N2 is adsorbed therein. The gas consisting essentially of O2 is sent to the pretreating towers 2a and 2b through the waste gas discharge pipe 4a, and used as the regenerating gas for adsorbing and desorbing. The waste cleaning gas from the other towers is recovered by the adsorption towers 3a-3c after adsorption, and the effluent gas contg. N2 is treated by the recovery and adsorption tower 14 to adsorb N2. The adsorption towers 3a-3c are flushed with the N2 from a product gas tank 20, and depressurized by a vacuum pump 6 to recover the product N2 in the tank 20. Meanwhile, the adsorption tower 14 is connected to the depressurized adsorption tower, and regenerated.</p> |
