<p>PURPOSE:To suppress tension fluctuation of high frequency generated by a tracking operation by performing the differential operation of a movable post on a tape feeding means so as to negative the tension fluctuation by the feed phase fluctuation of a magnetic tape by an actuator means. CONSTITUTION:The output of a tracking error detecting means 9 is sent to a second tension control means 12 via a variable gain amplification means 11. The second tension control means 12 controls the tension fluctuation of the magnetic tape 1 by performing the differential operation of the movable post P2 for the operation of the tape feeding means 4 and varying regulation length from the supply reel 2 of the magnetic tape 1 to the tape feeding means 4. Also, the tension fluctuation is generated due to the error of the differential operation between the tape feeding means 4 and the movable post P2, however, the output of the tension detecting means 5 is set as the error signal of differential driving between the tape feeding means 4 and the movable post P2. In such a way, the gain of the variable gain amplification means 11 can be adjusted, which eliminates the tension fluctuation.</p> |
