PURPOSE:To obtain the title molding improved in mechanical and dimensional stability, heat distortion temperature, etc., by simultaneously subjecting a glass reinforcement treated with a silane coupling agent of an epoxy silane type and a metathesis-polymerizable cycloolefin to polymerization and molding in the presence of a metathesis polymerization catalyst system. CONSTITUTION:A glass reinforcement such as a woven glass fabric is treated with a silane coupling agent of an epoxy silane such as gamma- glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane. At least one (for example, 5- methoxycarbonylnorbornene or the like is combinedly used) metathesis- polymerizable cycloolefin such as dicyclopentadiene said silane-treated glass reinforcement are simultaneously subjected to polymerization and molding in the presence of a metathesis polymerization catalyst system such as WCl6. |
